JTET Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have passed B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
- Age Limit: 21 to 40 years.

JTET Exam Pattern 2024
- The exam will be conducted on OMR sheets.
- Questions will be objective and multiple-choice.
- There will be no negative marking.
- For Primary Level (Class 1 to 5), questions will be based on the 10+2 level.
- For Upper Primary Level (Class 6 to 8), questions will be based on the graduation level.
- Exam Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes.

About Jharkhand Academic Council
The State of Jharkhand came into existence on 15th of November,2000. An Act to establish the Jharkhand Academic Council was enacted by the Jharkhand State Legislature and assented to by honourable Governor of the State on 26.02.2003 and notifed by the government on 04.03.2003, which is known as Jharkhand Academic Council Act 2002 .
The Jharkhand Academic Council was constituted by HRD Department Government of Jharkhand Vide Notification No. 6/V0-101/012491 dated 02-09-2003.
