Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) conducts Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Exam every year to fill various vacancies in the General Administrative Department of the state. JPSC exam is conducted to recruit talented candidates for various posts in departments/ministries under the Jharkhand government.
JPSC Mains Syllabus
There are no optional papers in the JPSC Syllabus for Mains. The nature of the Mains exam is subjective. The Combined Civil Service Mains exam consists of six papers in total. Each paper is 3 hours long. All of the papers are compulsory. The table below discusses the exam scheme:

JPSC Syllabus for Mains Paper 1
The General Hindi and General English paper will be a composite paper with two sections, one in Hindi and the other in English. Both sections have an equal weightage of 50 marks each. The paper aims to check the candidates’ working knowledge of the two languages. As a result, the questions in both segments of this paper will only be of matric standard and will be limited to the following topics.

It will only be a qualifying exam, with each candidate receiving only 30 marks out of a possible 100 (combined Hindi and English). As a result, 50 marks have been added. The general English component will not harm students from a Hindi/Regional Language background.

Language and Literature are the subjects that are included in the Mains JPSC Syllabus of Paper 2. This test will be set for a maximum of 150 marks, and the marks earned will be used to compile the Graduation list for the Mains exam.
