Candidates can apply for the JPSC Civil Services Exam online through the JPSC website. The steps to apply online are as follows:
Step 1:Click on the following link you will be redirected to the JPSC Official Website.
Step 2: You can take many examinations under JPSC, find the advertisement for “Apply Online JPSC Assistant Engineer post”.
Step 3: Click on the link and enter the personal details like Name, Address, Father’s Name, Date of Birth etc;
Step 4: The candidate will be getting a registration id/password to your registered email id.
Step 5: Once after the registration, the candidate has to log in and submit the certificates like category certificate, mark sheets etc.
Step 6: Upload Signature, photograph and click on the submit option.
Step 7: You will be redirected to the payment gateway page, pay the amount required for the post.
Application Fee for JPSC Civil Services Exam 2024
Candidates applying for the Jharkhand Civil Services are required to pay the following fee:
- UR/EWS/EBC: INR 100
- SC/ST of Jharkhand: INR 50.
Selection Process For JPSC Civil Services Recruitment 2024
The candidates will have to undergo three stages of selection:
- Preliminary Exam: 400 marks
- Main Exam: 950 Marks
- Physical Test (only for Deputy Superintendent of Police/District Commandant/Prison Superintendent and Probation Officer)

JPSC Educational Qualification For The Year 2024
The applicants for the JPSC Civil Services Exam must have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized university/institute.
JPSC Age Limit For The Year 2024
To be eligible for the Jharkhand Civil Services Exam must be at least 21 years of age. The upper age limit must be as follows:
- Unreserved: 35 years
- EBC: 37 years
- Female (Unreserved/Extremely Backward Classes): 38 years
- Scheduled Tribes/Scheduled Castes (Male and Female): 40 years
- PwBD: 10 years + category-wise relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years + category-wise relaxation.
