The online application process for both Basic and Post-Basic BSc Nursing programmes will begin on August 24, 2024, and end on September 14, 2024. Prospective candidates willing to apply must ensure that they submit their applications before the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria for Jharkhand B.Sc Nursing
- Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2024.
- Gender: The B.Sc Nursing (Basic) course is open exclusively to female candidates.
- Educational Qualifications: Applicants should have completed their 10+2 education with a focus on Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English Core/Elective. They must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 45% marks from a recognized board such as AISSCE, CBSE, ICSE, SSCE, HSCE, or an equivalent institution.
- Alternate Qualification: Students who are appearing for their 10+2 examination from the National Institute of Open School and have secured 45% marks are also eligible.
- Medical Fitness: All candidates must be medically fit to undertake the course.
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed their Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized institution. Alternatively, those who completed 10+1 before 1986 are also eligible.
- Professional Qualification: Candidates must have obtained a Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and must be registered as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (R.N.R.M.) with the State Nurse Registration Council.
For Male Candidates:
- Educational and Professional Qualifications: Male candidates trained before the introduction of the new integrated course should be registered with the State Nurse Registration Council. They must provide evidence of training approved by the Indian Nursing Council in one of the following specialized areas as a substitute for midwifery training:
- Operating Theatre Techniques
- Ophthalmic Nursing
- Leprosy Nursing
- Tuberculosis Nursing
- Psychiatric Nursing
- Neurological and Neuro-Surgical Nursing
- Community Health Nursing
- Cancer Nursing
- Orthopedic Nursing
