Courses and Eligibility

The paramedical programmes available through this examination include:

  • For 10+2 qualified candidates:
    • Diploma in Pharmacy (2 years 3 months)
    • Diploma in Paramedical Sciences (2 years)
  • For 10th pass candidates:
    • Certificate courses in areas such as Dresser, Medical Lab Attendant, and Radiographer Attendant (each 1 year)

Important Dates and Examination Details

The application process for the Jharkhand Paramedical exam began on 16 May 2025 and concluded on 5 July 2025. The admit card was made available on 16 July 2025, with the examination set to be conducted on 20 July 2025 across designated centres in the state.

The exam will be conducted in offline mode, with objective-type multiple-choice questions. Depending on their academic background, candidates will appear for either the Matric-level or Intermediate-level paper.

  • For Intermediate (PCM/PCB): The question paper includes 150 questions — 50 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.
  • For Matric-level candidates: The exam consists of 150 questions, covering Mathematics, Science, and General Knowledge (50 each).

Candidates should note that the question paper will be available in both Hindi and English.

Exam Day Guidelines

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following:

  • A printed copy of their admit card
  • A valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, etc.)
  • A passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the application form)
  • A blue or black ballpoint pen

Entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without the required documents. It is also advisable to reach the centre at least 30–45 minutes before the reporting time to avoid last-minute delays.
